Hey There, Welcome!

Welcome to San Antonio Two 10 MTB racing. We exist to help student-athletes foster a love of riding mountain bikes. Riding together as a team gives them an opportunity to be outdoors to enjoy nature while at the same time developing their skills and confidence on the bike. The riders are given the chance to demonstrate their growth through competitive and non-competitive activities. Your family has this special privilege to be part of an inclusive sport and part of a community of student-athletes, coaches, and parents riding, volunteering, and striving together.

We are excited to begin the 2024 season with returning and new athletes and look forward to working with you to achieve a fun and safe season.

Community

Running a Mountain bike club takes a village. We need your help to ensure we're providing the best possible environment for the safety and enjoyment of our riders.  Each family that joins is expected to provide a level of adult support to keep the team running smoothly.  Any family member 18+ is eligible, moms, dads, brothers, sisters, aunts, uncles, grandparents, etc.

The good news is there are 3 different ways you can provide support with your time or with a tax-deductable donation.

Coaching - You don't have to be able to shred single-track to coach. If you can ride a trail, you can coach. To be a coach you must register with NICA as a Level 1 coach and complete the Level 1 coach requirements, pass a background check, and pay a licensing fee (check with us to see if you qualify for reimbursement of these fees).

Volunteer - Coaching isn't an option for you? No problem. There are many volunteer opportunities to help the club, from working as part of the administration team to volunteering to bring snacks, to helping with race day setup, safety, and tear down.  Our ask is that your family commit to 15 hours of volunteer work.

Donations - Financial support helps us fund team activities and provide important equipment for our coaches and riders, such as 2-way radios, first aid supplies, spare riding lights, spare parts, tubes, etc.
