Mission

To develop skills and confidence, and to foster a lifelong love of mountain bike riding for students of all abilities. 

 

Provide an opportunity to be part of a non-traditional sport in a community of student-athletes and parents riding, volunteering, and achieving together.

Middle School
2x per week
Weekday TBD, Sat. mornings

Practice calendar will be TeamSnap

Dependent on coach ratio of 6:1 or 8:2 per group based on skill level.
Athlete default in TeamSnap should be that they are attending practice. They should remove themselves only if they don’t expect to be at practice

  • Important to determine if there is coverage skill groups on rides.

  • Notifications about upcoming events.

Expectations

  • Respect - For yourself, your coaches, league leadership, venues, rules and guidelines.

  • Safety - If your foot, leg or butt is on the bike, you have to have a helmet on. Always ride within your ability.

  • Practice - Arrive at practice ready to ride at the scheduled time. A, B, C, D, E. Look it up.

  • Participation - MTB is a progressive skill activity. You are expected to be at every practice in order to maintain your skill and fitness. Communicate with your head coach in advance if you have reason to miss practice. This is the same for any other sport.

  • Accountability - Athletes are responsible for updating their availability. The default is that you will be at practice. See participation bullet above. (Parents, if your athlete is not allowed to use a phone app, you are responsible for updating their availability.)

Two10 MTB Team Dues

Rider dues include:

  • Team Jersey & T-Shirt

  • Coach led skills instruction at practices
